The Loar LH 700 VS Archtop Acoustic Guitar Vintage Sunburst w HSC
Read about this guitar here.
This is a Roger guitar made in the early 60's or possibly the 50's.Label inside reads:
Roger GuitarModel Junior CA Nr. 27 41Mittenwald/Karw.
It appears to be signed.
Hand carved in the German Style.Beautiful flamed maple back.
A beautiful guitar for it's age.Lots of checking. The neck appears to have been sanded.Currently strung with flat wound strings with action at the 12th fret of between 1/16th and 1/8th inches.A little bit of finger grooving around the 2nd and 3rd frets
This guitar has a new recently installed Bartolini 5J Jazz Guitar pickup along with (2) 500ohm pots(2) black caps, shielded wire, and a powered end jack. This is classic kit from archtop.com in Seattle WA.The sound is sweet. There are small holes from a previously installed pick up.Tuners are not original, everything else appears to be.
Plays clean up and down the neck.
The case is marginal, but functional and not original. It has a musty smell.
Guitar plays great and is very solid structurally.A unique and hard to find instrument.
I am going on vacation so responses to any questions may be slow and I will not have the guitar with me.Shipping to the lower 48 unless cleared with me.
