Epiphone Casino Inspired by John Lennon Hollow body Archtop Electric Guitar
Harmony Patrician vintage archtop guitar
Old closet find at a relatives house, hasn't been played in years but is in remarkably good shape, perhaps 85% condition. The good stuff: solid arched spruce top, solid arched mahogany back and neck, I assume solid mahogany sides, adjustable truss rod (rare for Harmonys of this vintage), neck looks straight, original bridge and tailpiece, original tuners, overall very little damage. The issues (all relatively minor): there are number of scuffs and three deeper gouges on the back and several gouges on the side of the fretboard at the 8th-11th frets (see photos 4 and 5), there are a couple very small dents on the top, and two very tiny cracks on the top (one about an inch near the neck, the other about two inches at the edge near the waist, these are just barely visible in the last two photos, not too serious), there is a very slight separation at the neck heel, perhaps about 1 mm (common with old Harmonys, but not problematic; all of my old Harmonys had these and played fine, I assume the same for this one but to be fair I have not strung it up). It is also missing the original pickguard (seems to happen often with these, but there is also always someone selling replacements on ebay). The body is about 16 inches wide by 19.5 inches long, and 3.5 inches deep at the sides, scale length about 25.5 inches.
Comes with a cheap chipboard case for shipping mainly, but is adequate until you get something nicer and more fitting. Needs new strings and to be tuned, perhaps slightly adjusted. Payment by Paypal or personal check (checks will be held until they clear). Shipping is $30 in the continental USA, elsewhere by quote only. No returns except in the rare case that something is not as I described.
